NELLA’S USUAL MEALS

Breakfasts:

  • Eggwhite omelettes
  • Chocolatey overnight oatmeal
  • Quinoa
  • Rye bread with cucumber or avocado
  • Special K with skim milk
Lunches/Dinners:
  • Soba noodles with zucchini or garlic and tomato
  • Vegetable stirfrys
  • Homemade soups
  • Fresh salads
  • Protein (lean chicken or fish) with steamed veggies

Snacks:

  • Yoghurt (either natural yoghurt or occasionally Yoplait fruit flavoured)
  • Fruits (apples, bananas, pears, mandarines, persimmons)
  • Smoothies (with frozen berries!)
  • Cottage cheese with cocoa powder or berries and sweetener
  • Air-popped popcorn

Drinks:

  • Black tea with mint leaves and stevia
  • Green tea with lemon juice and stevia
  • Ovaltine Lite with 1tsp coffee and stevia
  • Earl Grey tea with stevia
  • Water

Sweet craving satisfiers:

  • Buckwheat flour microwave muffin/brownie
  • Cottage cheese/natural yoghurt with cocoa + stevia
  • Blueberry compote - blueberries, grapes, chopped apple
  • Baked apple with cinnamon
  • Stick air-popped popcorn coated with Ovaltine Lite and stevia
