Hello! I can’t find wholewheat bread and pasta where I live - only bread and pasta made of regular all purpose flour with brans added (as opposed to bread made of wholewheat flour). Is this at least a bit better than white bread/regular pasta, or I’m doomed? :( Your “Valentines message” was so cute and I really liked it (although I’m not a single). You look so great. <3 Love Hi :) I work out pretty much every day, about an hour and a half or slightly more. I usually do about 40-50 minutes of cardio and about 30 minutes or strength training. I eat big breakfasts, usually oatmeal or greek yogurt with fruit, and I get a lot of low-fat protein in my diet. I was consistently staying the same weight for months, and then, all of a sudden, I gained. I didn’t make any changes to my diet, really, nor my exercise. I think I might be eating too little, to be honest. Advice? When you are on the treadmill, do you run or walk? what is your pace like? Do you lift weights?
Aw wow, that’s no good! But, if you can then go for the ones with brans added - at least this will help in regards to fibre. However, to incorporate some healthy grains into your diet, try to eat oats and brown rice =)
Hehe thank you! =) You’re so sweet! I wish you and your other half a lovely Valentine’s Day for the 14th! <3 xoxo
That MAY be the case (that you’re eating too little. Your body may be freaking out over the lack of calories, therefore it’s probably storing fat where it can! Perhaps take a week where you do 30 mins of light cardio each day and eat a bit more raw veggies because they will add good fibre into your diet and may promote weight loss! Also, if you’re not doing so already, invest in some green tea and have approx 2-5 cups a day - it’s speeds up your metabolism and is a good way to detox a little, which is exactly what you may need! But like I’ve said before, I’m not a professional dietician so if my advice doesn’t help and it’s really worrying you, then go see a qualified dietician =) Good luck honey! <3
I have an insane sweet tooth. What could be a good dinner for me if I’m not into the savory?
Join the club haha! I am also a CRAZY sweet tooth! Do you mean you don’t want to eat savoury things at all for dinner? Eating savoury things like vegetables, grains and lean proteins are really healthy and crucial in any diet. However, on a few days of the week you can add a sweet twist to some savoury things. You can cook yourself some buckwheat and add some nuts, lemon zest, squeeze of orange juice and natural sweetener! This will give you a very nutritious but sweet dinner! You can also grab yourself some cottage cheese and stir in a few sultanas and natural sweetener. Natural yoghurt with sweet fruit and cinnamon is also a good idea. You can even make yourself a dessert pizza - grab some wholemeal pita bread and top it with apple and pear slices, pop it in the oven for a bit, then top with fresh banana and low fat/low sugar vanilla yoghurt! =) I hope those ideas help! Check out my ‘sweet tooth’ page in the links for more ideas! =D xo
I never run, because it puts strain on my legs and bulks up my calves too much (my calves are already have a fair amount of good muscle from my dancing, and I don’t want them any bigger =) ) I love to rapidly walk on it at a speed of 6.5 to 7.7 =)
Nope! I know it’s really really good for you, but I just don’t enjoy it! I’ve done weights in classes at my gym and with a personal trainer, but I hated it. I prefer to lightly strengthen and tone my body through something which I really enjoy like ballroom/latin dancing =)
