Argh! i stuck to eating just over 1200 cals today and before i just went crazy and had 13 cookies. I’m so angry at myself!! i want to give up trying to eat healthy, how much weight will this make me gain :’(
Don’t worry, we all slip up every now and then. This won’t make you gain too much weight at all. Just focus on eating clean tomorrow. If it makes you feel better, I had about 4 bowls of ice-cream and 15 chocolate cookies on Valentines day alone! haha =)
Hi nella, I just want to thank you. I was tryin’ to fight my binges for more than a year now, but whatever I tried I did not succeed. My motivation decreased more and more … but then I discovered HEALTHY SNAX. So every time when I felt to binge, I thought about your healthy lifestyle and how much better I would feel with eating healthy food instead of all the trash. Thank you so much <3 I already lost 2 kilos by just following your advice of living healthy.
Aw..you can’t imagine how much this actually made my day! I’m so so so happy for you! =D Congrats, and keep doing what you’re doing, gorgeous! <3 xo
You are soooo beautiful!
Thank you, I’m sure you are even more beautiful! <3 xo
Elliptical vs treadmill?
I love my treadmill to bits! I love walking on it at a chill or rapid pace while listening to music or talking to friends! Plus it doesn’t strain your joints anywhere =)
Why are you in a bad emotional state? :( hope you’re better!
I think you asked this Q a while ago..honestly, I don’t know why I was so upset over something very little. I’m all better now though =) <3
I really liked your “punching binches in the face” <3 i often feel like you do. You’re great and such a big inspiration and I hope to be as strong as you were concerning your binch. Love.
Hehe, thank you! I’m glad you liked it, and I hope it helps! =D You can definitely be strong - in fact, you already are! =) <3
Do you like cottage cheese? how do you eat it, plain? coz to me plain tastes funny, how would you jazz it up? and also, how can i make natural yoghurt taste nice?
I love it! It depends on the brand, really! Some cottage cheeses I’d bought tasted really weird and not tasty at all. You just have to shop around. If you’re from Australia, my fave one is the Dairy Farmers one because it has no funny taste! I eat it with berries, fruit, cinnamon, cocoa powder, nuts, sultanas etc! You can make natural yoghurt taste nice by adding the things I just mentioned, plus some natural sweetener =)
Cottage cheese or greek yoghurt or natural yoghurt for protein/post workout?
Any! =D They’re all healthy and full of protein!
Are there any ways to get abs without crunches?
Any activities which engage the core. For example latin dancing and sports usually require a strong core. You can even try to suck your stomach in and hold it tight like that for 20 seconds several times throughout the day to tighten your tummy muscles! =)
Do you think its essential to eat after lifting weights? because im scared i’ll “gain” weight after all the hard work! lol if so, what would you recommend in consuming? i don’t want to undo all the hard work ><
I’m not a fan of weight lifting, even though it’s really good for you, so I’m not an expert in that area. However, after any sort of exercise, your body likes it when you feed it something to help it repair a bit! Go for something light like an apple, small protein shake/bar, some yoghurt, cottage cheese, handful of nuts…It won’t make you gain weight if it’s a nice little snack under 200 cals =)
Does it matter how you distribute your calories throughout the day? like technically, could i eat the majority of the cals at dinnertime and still achieve the same results? because im not very hungry during the day! x
Unfortunately, it does matter, because this messes with your metabolism and can make you gain weight. I would strongly encourage you to try to eat more during the day and less at night, even though I know that it’s tempting to have a big dinner. That way, you actually keep your body running and burning calories and it’s fuelled and healthy.
Hi. im 165cm and 47kgs but still not lean as i want. do you think its okay to get down to 45kgs even though technically “underweight”. because i honestly don’t look skinny at all!!! ><(
Hmm…On average, to weigh 45kg and be 165cm is very very low indeed, and is underweight. However, I don’t know your body, lifestyle etc so I can’t give you an accurate answer! Honestly, I’d say you should stay at 47kgs where you are now! =)
I read that you use the treadmill very often. I normally go jogging, but it’s too cold in the place here and I don’t want to have an excuse for not working out. How many calories do I burn and has it the same effect as jogging? I mean, is it really worth buying one?
Walking on a treadmill can burn the same amount of cals as jogging, it may just take a while longer if you’re just walking. However, if you speed walk very fast, you can burn about 100 calories per 15 minutes. Furthermore, some treadmills are designed for running, so you can still jog on that! I love treadmills and would highly recommend for anyone to buy one, because it’s so worth it! =)
